Enable or disable voicemail transcription for a location

Voicemail transcription offers users a convenient way to receive messages. Upon receiving a voicemail, users get an email containing the transcription in the email body along with a .WAV file attachment of the voicemail. Additionally, users can view the transcription directly within the Webex App. This transcription feature is accessible for both individual and group or shared voicemails.

  1. From Control Hub, go to Management and select Locations.
  2. Find and select the location to modify and select the Calling tab.
  3. Under Calling feature settings, select the toggle next to Voicemail transcription to enable or disable.
  4. Select Save to save your changes.
The transcription will not appear in the user's email if either Email a copy of message is not selected or if Use external mailbox is chosen in each user voicemail settings or voicemail group settings.
