Enable or disable voicemail transcription for a location
Voicemail transcription offers users a convenient way to receive messages. Upon receiving a voicemail, users get an email containing the transcription in the email body along with a .WAV file attachment of the voicemail. Additionally, users can view the transcription directly within the Webex App. This transcription feature is accessible for both individual and group or shared voicemails.
- From Control Hub, go to Management and select Locations.
- Find and select the location to modify and select the Calling tab.
- Under Calling feature settings, select the toggle next to Voicemail transcription to enable or disable.
- Select Save to save your changes.
The transcription will not appear in the user's email if either Email a copy of message is not selected or if Use external mailbox is chosen in each user voicemail settings or voicemail group settings.
