Manage call pickup groups
The call pickup service enables a user to answer any ringing line within their pickup group. A pickup group is a group of users within a location, created by the administrator in Control Hub. Once the call pickup group is created, those users can use the call pickup service.
Feature notes/requirements
- A user can only be assigned to one call pickup group.
- A call pickup group may only have assigned users from the same location.
- A location may have multiple call pickup groups.
- Call pickup group names must be unique.
- Assigning a user to a call pickup group removes the barge-in restriction, if enabled for that user.
Create a call pickup group
- From Control Hub, select Calling.
- Select Features and then Call Pickup.
- Choose the Location where you’d like to add the call pickup group.
- Select the Manage drop-down menu and choose Create Call Pickup.
- Choose the Location from the drop-down menu. If previously selected, confirm it is the correct location where you would like to assign the call pickup group.
- Enter the name for the call pickup group.
- Add the users you would like to assign to the call pickup group.
- Select how users will receive the notification to pick up incoming calls within their group.
- Set the amount of time to delay the notification to other users in the group.
- Select Create to save the call pickup group.

Edit a call pickup group
- From Control Hub, select Calling.
- Select Features and then Call Pickup.
- If prompted, choose the Location where you’d like to edit a call pickup group.
- Select the call pickup group you’d like to modify.
Here is where you can add or remove members of the call pickup group, determine park destinations, and choose the recall settings.
- Make any necessary changes and click Save.
