Calling – Integrate with Webex

Integrate your Microsoft Teams with your Verizon Webex calling application to seamlessly make calls just like you would on your Webex app. With this integration, you can start a call from a chat, or from the dial pad, by simply clicking the Webex call button in your Microsoft Teams.

Meetings – Integrate with Webex Meetings

Integrate with Webex Meetings to schedule, start, or join Webex meetings. Easily invite people to join Webex meetings or your Webex Personal Room directly from Microsoft Teams.

Administrators

Users with Calling in Webex enabled can integrate with the Microsoft Teams app to place and receive PSTN calls just like they would be placing and receiving calls in Webex.

Step 1 - Set Up Calling Behavior for Webex

As an administrator, you can control which calling application is used and how calls are routed when people dial PSTN numbers or extensions from Webex. You configure this setting at the organization level, and you can override your organization's default setting for specific users with different calling needs. To do this, follow these steps.

Step 2 - Install the Webex Call App for Your Organization for Microsoft Teams

Next, install the Webex Call app for your organization for a seamless call experience in Microsoft Teams. To do this, follow these steps.

Step 3 (Optional) - Modify the Webex App to Only Show Calling

If you’d like for your users to only see the Calling capabilities in Webex and not be able to see and/or use the Webex Messaging and Meetings icons, you can create a scaled-down Calling-only version. To do this, follow these steps.

Step 4 (Optional) - Modify the Microsoft Teams App to Remove Calling

If you’d like to remove the calling button in Microsoft Teams, you can do that too. This may help eliminate potential confusion for how to perform calls using Microsoft Teams. Removing the Microsoft Calling button will prevent users from making internal-only calls between Microsoft Teams users. Once removed, users can still make internal, as well as external calls, using the Webex Calling button in their Microsoft Teams client.
