Administrators can enable or disable in-call features and capabilities for calling in Webex App. For example, you can enable or disable remote desktop control and screen sharing capabilities and provision enabling video on desktop and mobile. You can also configure the move calls to meetings feature.
Settings that are configured for the organization level are automatically set for users, even if the user has enabled user-level or template-level settings.
Manage In-Call Feature Access Settings
- From Control Hub, go to Services and click Calling.
- Select Client Settings and scroll to In-call feature access.
- Click Create template.
- Select the toggle to enable or disable the following options:
Sharing Content
- Request control—Allows users to request and gain control of others' shared content.
- Give control—Allows other users to take control of this user’s shared content. The toggle switch is ON, by default.
- Screen sharing—Allows sharing the screen at the user-level.
Video
- Video on desktop—Allows desktop users video calling support. Check the box next to Answer calls with video to initiate calls with video automatically.
- Video on mobile—Allows mobile users video calling support. Check the box next to Answer calls with video to initiate calls with video automatically.
Additional Features
- Move calls to meetings—Allows users to move an active phone call to a full Webex Meeting along with all the participants.
